Nancy Ross, New York, New York, is the Secretary/Treasurer of CUIP/Independent Voting. She has played multiple leadership roles at Independent Voting since 1999 and was formerly a partner in the Washington, DC-based lobbying firm of Ross and Green.

David Cherry, Chicago, Illinois, is the City Leader of the All Stars Project of Chicago. For more than 25 years, Cherry, a seasoned community organizer and activist, has helped diverse communities develop around issues of democracy, social justice and inclusion. He is the founder of United Independents of Illinois.

Evelyn Dougherty, Boston, Massachusetts is the Director of the Boston Social Therapy Group and the Manager of the Outpatient Addiction and Recovery Clinic at Dimock in Boston. She is the chair and co-founder of the Massachusetts Coalition of Independent Voters.

Jessie Fields, MD, New York, New York, is an attending physician in Internal Medicine affiliated with the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine. She is a primary care physician at the Mount Sinai Faculty Practice in the Harlem community. Dr. Fields is a vice chairperson of the New York County Independence Clubs.

Omar H. Ali, Ph.D., Greensboro, North Carolina, is Dean and Professor of Lloyd International Honors College at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Selected as the 2016 Carnegie Foundation North Carolina Professor of the Year, Dr. Ali's book, In the Balance of Power: Independent Black Politics and Third Party Movements, has been praised as a "landmark work" by the National Political Science Review. Dr. Ali has appeared on CNN, NPR, and PBS, among other news networks, and is a founder of North Carolina Independents.

Bob Friedman, Birmingham, Alabama, is Director of the Birmingham Black Radio Museum (thebbrm.org) and a co-host of "Knowledge Is Power" on Thursdays on WATV Radio. Friedman is a member of the Committee to Save Jefferson County, and an organizer of numerous independent and third party campaigns in Alabama. Friedman is a founder of Independent Alabama.

Lenora Fulani, Ph.D., New York, New York, became the first woman and the first African American presidential candidate to be on the ballot in all 50 states and is an outspoken advocate and organizer on behalf of the political independence of the black community. A developmental psychologist, Fulani is the co-founder of the All Stars Project, a widely respected after-school program for inner city youth where she directs a number of programs, including Operation Conversation: Cops and Kids. Together with Jackie Salit, she is a co-founder of CUIP.
